Summary of Job Duties :
The duties and responsibilities of this 9-month non-tenure, Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing position include : teaching primarily graduate courses; advising students and capstone projects; clinical practice engagement; performing professional and community service and outreach; and contributing to ongoing program evaluation and improvement.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution of higher education conferred by the start of employment
Demonstrated knowledge of innovative teaching approaches and the use of technology in instruction
Experience with interprofessional collaborative education, scholarship, and / or practice
Demonstrated strong interest in and professional commitment to the preparation of advanced practice nurses
Current unencumbered APRN license in the State of Arkansas, or eligible for licensure in Arkansas
Preferred Qualifications :
Family Nurse Practitioner certification
Experience with online graduate programs
