Summary of Job Duties :
This position will serve as the primary Undergraduate Recruiter for the Sam M. Walton College of Business. This will include in-state and out-of-state recruiting events; hosting students and families during on campus visits; regularly corresponding with prospective students, family members, and high school counselors; developing, implementing, and maintaining student databases; assisting supervisor with marketing plans; and performing other related duties as assigned. This position will be required to work occasional nights and weekends.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
At least one year of experience in a higher education working directly with students
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in higher education or other related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least one year of experience as a college recruiter
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel on behalf of the college : this position requires significant in-state and out-of-state travel, approximately 10-12 weeks per year as needed
