Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program,

• Valid LPN License;

• One (1) Year of Health Care Experience

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and registered nurses with providing basic, direct patient assessment.

• Performs intake exams and health screenings, monitors vital signs, collects various swabs and specimens, and administers diagnostic tests.

• Develop, communicate, and implement patient treatment plans by evaluating patient well-being, reporting any needs to medical staff, and explaining treatments and procedures.

• Provides a high standard of care and customer service to patients and families.

• Ensures comfort and well-being of patients by performing care activities, such as feeding patients, changing dressings and bandages of wounds, and transporting patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.

• Maintains organized medical records and fulfills records requests.

• Participate in ad hoc research projects to improve performance management and patient care.

• Performs other duties as requested.
