Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Arkansas or eligible to apply and obtain license within one month of hire and Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible pending completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
• Clinical experience with the geriatric population.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, practices, and techniques.
• Skills in conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Must possess problem-solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ability to adhere to federal, state, and professional regulations and standards.
• Ability to Bend, stand, walk, eyesight, hear, drive, speak, and repetitious movement, lifting, weight lifted 50 lbs. lift to the waist, 50 lbs. chest, 50 lbs. above head 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Same as the minimum plus: FEES certified. LSVT-LOUD and Vital-stim certified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts speech-language evaluations.
• Writes reports detailing scores, descriptions of patients, and need for therapies.
• Implements speech therapy.
• Documents services provided.
• Completes billing and charting procedures.
• Participates in treatment teams.
• Maintains knowledge of theories and techniques in the field of communication disorders.

• Marketing for the clinic as needed.
• Providing educational experiences for multi-discipline therapy students.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
