Department: ICE | IGSL Magnetic Resonance Imaging IOP Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: MRI Technologist produces quality MRI images as ordered by treating physician. Communicates with patients, coworkers and physicians through written and verbal forms of communication. Complete required continuing education to stay abreast of new procedures as they are introduced. Interacts with patients and family members during the entire procedure form prep to completion of the study. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or formal educational equivalent. Graduate of a Radiological Technology program Licenses, certificates, or registration: Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date. MRI Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist must be obtained within 12 months from the hire date. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors/Baccalaureate Degree One or more years’ experience as an MRI technologist Licenses, certificates, or registration- MRI Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
