Department: ICE | WISL Neonatal ICU IP C Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to assigned patients in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (F5/H5). This is a 64 bed NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) with single-room design providing care for early high-risk, low birth weight infants as well as acutely ill full-term newborns. NICU is a Level IIIB Nursery and provides 24/7 physician and nursing care to serve the citizens of the State of Arkansas. High level developmental and technological care is combined with the specialized neonatal expertise of our health care team. The dedication of our NICU team allows us to provide patient- and family-centered care through Comfort, Hope and Healing to each infant and their family. PRN Nurses will report to an assigned Clinical Services Manager PRN Maximum allowable hours in a floating year is 1000. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing. Valid RN License 1 year of Registered nursing experience Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills Strong work ethics and accountability. Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of Registered nursing experience with current BLS. NICU experience Additional Information: Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment to include N95 masks, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) or Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR).
