Summary of Job Duties :
The Student Admissions Director provides leadership in vision, strategic planning, and coordinated implementation of recruitment, admissions, and student support to make the UAMS COP an attractive program to qualified applicants. The Director maintains individual and summary records of applications, establishes relationships with applicants and guides them through the multi-step application process. The Director makes recommendations for strengthening applications, starting with transcript reviews all the way to admissions decisions. The Director also provides data driven analysis to guide admissions and recruitment decisions.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's in education, business or any related field with five (5) years of administrative experience with two (2) years of progressive work experience in higher education and / or research environment.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master's Degree in education, business or related field.
Experience utilizing PharmCAS or equivalent admissions platform.
Workday experience.
