Ensures that the room has been prepared for the upcoming cases, with appropriate equipment available and ready for surgical use. Ensures that the instruments are cleaned arranged and transported to the soiled workroom according to department policy. independently assists with instrument reprocessing tasks when assigned cases are completed and time permits. Ensures that the operating rooms are case-ready for the following day’s cases. Exhibits practical knowledge of OR equipment including maintenance and safety aspects. Utilizes available communication tools; Demonstrates teamwork by offering assistance to other team members. Shares knowledge information and expertise with other staff. Attends departmental in-services and other educational offerings. Consistently demonstrates new knowledge and skills through incorporation into actual clinical practice.
