Summary of Job Duties :
TRIO Student Support Services is hiring a part-time math / science tutor who can assist to reach their educational goals. Tutors provide one on one and group tutoring services to students in the areas of basic math-college algebra science courses.
Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of academic subjects : Math and Science
- Associates Degree or higher in the subject areas or a related field
- Tutoring experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to relate well to students of various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds
- Well organized, detail oriented, dependable, creative, & self-motivated
