The Program Administrator is responsible for the collaboration, facilitation, direction, and administration of the UAMS Fleet Vehicle Program.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Security, Project Management, or related field of study plus four (4) years of administrative experience or similar performing business functions.
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Security, Project Management, or related field of study plus six (6) years of administrative experience or similar performing business functions.
- High School Diploma plus 8 years of Administrative experience or related experience.
- Assists with the research, development, and implementation, of policies, procedures, and proposed projects related to Fleet Services, ID Badge production, and Green Security vendor tracking systems.
- This role assists UAMS Department Heads and Directors with the approval and accusation of state-approved vehicles as well as the management of the UAMS vehicle pool program.
- Manages WEX fuel and billing functions for Fleet Services.
- Serves as the liaison between UAMS and the Arkansas Department of Motor Vehicle, and Marketing & Redistribution regarding the management of purchases and redistribution of state vehicles.
- Assists the Security ID Badging Dept. with badging production, automated ID and security systems technology, and applications.
- Assists with promoting badge services to students, faculty, staff, and contractors/vendors.
- Position assists with various other duties.
- Development and management of the Green Security vendor tracking system and program.
- Basic/Intermediate skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to determine computer/printer problems and coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Knowledge of principles of project management.
- Skill in the configuration and use of computerized database programs.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to develop solutions for operational problems.
- Knowledge of budget preparation cost estimating, monitoring, and fiscal management principles and procedures.
- Skill in the configuration, installation, and operation of automated ID and security systems.
- Knowledge of computer and/or ID badge security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
