Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in the field of communications, business or related plus 3 Years Project Management Experience/customer relations
- Five years of special event experience
- Advanced in Website Design (WordPress), PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook
- Advanced in livestream, virtual platforms
Additional Information
- Assess, create, implement and manage employee appreciation initiatives.
- Develop, plan and manage special events, which includes pre-planning, problem-solving, logistics, directing event set-up, advising, communicating with staff and organizing vendors for events including but not limited to groundbreaking/building openings, floor/building dedications, virtual events, Board of Trustees meetings, events at various UAMS locations across the state and institutional celebrations/events.
- Lead the development and implementation of all employee appreciation, recognition initiatives and special events with a goal to enhance the culture; improve employee satisfaction and increase productivity of all members of Team UAMS.
- In addition, the manager will support the implementation of best practices and the adoption of high standards of excellence for internal/external event attendees and clients. Oversee, update and manage the Special Events Policy and related forms.
