Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED PLUS Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program
- Registered Diagnostic Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer within one year of hire.
- Abdomen and OB registries are required within a set time from the hire date.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide variety or ultrasound studies in collaboration with the ordering provider and reading Radiologists requests.
- Requires rotational after hour/weekend and holiday call coverage.
- Works closely with Radiologists in order to provide needed information to make an accurate diagnosis.
- Assists physicians in such procedures as renal biopsies, sonohysterograms and Lumason enhancement studies.
- Joins alongside the academic achievement of students, residents and fellows.
