Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education;
Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate degree program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students;
Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Strong background in (real-time) computer graphics, game engines, human-computer interaction, or machine learning.
Experience in software-development processes or digital workflows preferred
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in supervised as well as non-supervised research and development of EAC projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in advanced computer literacy including automation technologies
Proficiency in programming languages such as C , Python, or JavaScript.
We expect familiarity with one or more of the following: Experience with computer-graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan) and frameworks (e.g., Unity, Unreal) or interactive software frameworks (e.g., Flutter/Kotlin, Angular JS)
Machine-learning software frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data analysis techniques.
For Cyber Security web development, data bases, machine learning, and cloud API's
Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for research.
Familiarity with reading and analyzing scientific publications and writing project documentation
