Department's Website:
*Clean classrooms, offices, and restroom facilities;
*Move/arrange furniture;
*Clean and shampoo floors;
*Stock restrooms and kitchenette with paper supplies;
*Buff and wax floors;
*Clean windows;
*Dust and pick up trash;
*Open and lock all buildings;
*Assist with special events to include:
Change light bulbs. This includes working on ladders.
Replace needed ceiling tiles.
Clean coils on HVAC Units
Be fluent with the Energy Management System
Assist other skilled maintenance employees as assigned.
Other miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned.
Non-Skilled plumbing work.
Change filters on Air handler Units , variable air volume units, and other needed areas.Qualifications:
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions; must be able to perform manual labor to including lifting 20lbs; bend and reach without undue physical exertion; must be able to perform general cleaning responsibilities; must have a valid driver's license; and be able to tolerate solvent and cleaning solution odors. High school diploma or GED and experience in comparable setting.
