Summary of Job Duties:
The Nuclear Medicine Imaging Sciences bachelor’s degree consists of an online didactic educational component with clinical sites in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota and Alabama. The program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the NMTCB and/or the ARRT.
- Minimum of 3 years recent post-certification clinical experience.
- Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills, ability to identify and solve problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- 5 years recent post-certification clinical experience.
- Prior teaching experience in a nuclear medicine program (online, classroom, and/or clinical).
- Computed Tomography Certification by the NMTCB or the ARRT.
- Positron Emission Tomography Certification by the NMTCB.

Responsibilities:
- Teaches academic courses in area(s) of content expertise.
- Engage in scholarly and service activities, consistent with university and college expectations for core faculty.
- Contribute to program and curriculum assessment and planning activities.
- Participate in student advisement, mentoring, admissions and interviewing.
- Perform duties related to student clinical rotations, including performing required clinical visits.
- Participate in department meetings, college and university committees, and state and national nuclear medicine organizations.
- Participate in JRCNMT accreditation related review, self-study and site visit processes.
- Maintain current nuclear medicine certification; maintain CT and PET certification as appropriate.
- Maintain state licensure as appropriate.
