Master's degree in Psychology, or related field plus one (1) year of pediatrics experience required.
Must be licensed as a Psychological Examiner - Independent by the Arkansas Board of Psychology.

Responsibilities:
Reviews records, meets with families, and staff with attending psychologists, selects psychological tests/measures, and utilizes other psychological evaluation methods as deemed appropriate.
Staff with interdisciplinary team (speech-language pathologist, social worker, physician, etc.).
Meets with families to discuss the child's individual assessment results, explain findings and diagnosis, along with recommendations for future services and appropriate placement/treatment.
Prepares clearly written reports that accurately describe the evaluation with a thorough description of all assessment results, impressions, diagnoses, and recommendations.
Attends and participates in regular committee meetings to address clinical issues and to promote quality of care and patient safety.
Attends continuing education to expand clinical knowledge and meet criteria for licensure.
Assists in the research and teaching activities within the section of pediatric psychology.

Provides follow-up clinical consultation with parents and service providers as needed.
Be available for informal consultation with other disciplines to contribute to the clinical perspective on a case-by-case basis.
Provides observational experiences and training for student practitioners, interns, residents, and new employees.
Seeks training and supervision, as needed, to become proficient with any unfamiliar assessment measures commonly used in the clinic.
Perform other duties as assigned.
