Earle Love Child Study Center is open year round, Monday through Friday. Hours for this position are 7:30 am to 1:00 pm daily.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
*Providing and serving meals and snacks to children enrolled in ELCSC.
*Following food service guidelines set forth by AR Minimum Licensing Requirements for Child Care Centers, AR Special Nutrition Program, and ELCSC.
*Creating menus and grocery lists.
*Maintaining clear health inspections.
*Maintaining necessary records related to food service.
*Cleaning and upkeep of the facility food service area.
*Completing required trainings annually.
*Performing related responsibilities as required or assigned.Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma.
Possesses or is willing and able to become CPR Certified
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the minimum qualifications upon approval of the Chancellor.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior work experience in childcare

Knowledge of teaching techniques and development of lesson plans.
Knowledge of Arkansas Minimum Licensing Requirement for Child Care Centers, Better Beginnings Requirements, and ITERS/ECERS guidelines
Able to maintain records and develop lesson plans.
Skilled and certified in CPR.
Able to work independently and cooperatively with a team to achieve the mission/goal.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Able to work effectively and cooperatively with people of various cultural backgrounds.
Able to read and understand directions and warning labels printed in English.
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs.
Able to walk while holding up to 30lbs
Abe to bend, stoop, crawl, and move about freely.
