Summary of Job Duties : The Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for delivering advanced pharmaceutical care, including the management and optimization of medication therapy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert advice on drug-related issues. This position involves collaborating with healthcare providers, conducting medication reviews, and participating in patient education to improve health outcomes.Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications :

BS in Pharmacy or PharmD PLUS Licensed or eligible for licensure in Arkansas Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy

Certification as a licensed Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure by the State of Arkansas

Certification to administer immunizations by the State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for certification to administer immunizations

Preferred Qualifications :

PGY1 / 2 residency completion

Board Certified in applicable area

5 years applicable experience

Additional Information :

Responsibilities :

Oversees patient care functions, including maintaining accurate records and refining medication therapies to improve treatment results.

Handles task prioritization adjusts to shifts in practice and addresses day-to-day operational challenges.

Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.

Provides training and instruction to staff members and pharmacy students.

Participates in initiatives for process enhancement, policy revisions, or research activities.

Other duties as assigned.
