- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
- Valid RN License with one (1) year Registered Nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong work ethics and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of Registered Nursing experience.
- Critical Care, ED experience.
- Phone Triage.
- Hospital Transfer.
- Case Coordination.
- Telephone etiquette, Labor and Delivery, or High-Risk antepartum service.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
- Provides patient triage, clinical reviews, and follow-up communication through calls, emails, and EMR documentation.
- Supports inbound patient transports, nurse-to-nurse reports, and preregistration coordination.
- Assists with ARSAVES stroke care via videoconferencing and patient transport arrangements.
- Manages the Trauma Image Repository and tracks call center referrals and case data.
- Promotes effective communication between the consultation center, UAMS, and statewide physicians.
- Analyzes data and provides reports to enhance consultation center quality and efficiency.
Plans and organizes tasks, sets priorities, and ensures timely completion of responsibilities.
- Assists in establishing measurable goals and objectives for performance improvement.
- Acts as a role model, mentoring staff and fostering collaboration.
- Supports recruitment and retention efforts and facilitates changes to improve call center operations.
Orients new employees and documents their onboarding process.
- Ensures fair and professional communication and identifies cost-saving opportunities.
- Assists in optimizing staff, space, and resources within budget constraints.
- Uses critical thinking to resolve complex issues and maintain call center operations.
- Multitasks effectively to promote quality patient care and excellent service.
