Required Education and/or Experience
Be resourceful in finding appropriate information to answer customer andemployee questions;
Communicate and work well with staff and customers;
Be able to work within a variety of departments and settings;
Must have proof of work-study award.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Greet visitors/students;
Help with providing and explaining information on booking an event;
Answer calls and assist callers with the information they seek regarding Conference Services;
Email clients to confirm reservations;
Print Mazevo schedules and setup diagrams (as needed) for fellow employees;
Print out Table/Door signs for events (as needed);
Help with other tasks as needed;
Familiarize yourself with the campus and the A-Z directory on the UALR website;
Assist with scheduling approved events when needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Be a responsible and dependable person;
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills;
Be self-motivated, and customer-service oriented;
Be able to work independently and as a part of a productive team;
Be flexible and willing to assist when and where there is a need;
Have the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
