Required Education and Experience:
- Current UA Little Rock eligible student;
- Must have proof of award of federal work-study;
- Eligible to legally work up to 20 hours per week in the United States.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Carry a minimum of 8 academic credits and have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing lesson plans, activities, and assignments for career development courses;
- Research and compile resources to support course objectives, including articles, videos, and case studies;
- Organize and format instructional materials for online or in-person delivery;
- Provide feedback on curriculum drafts, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with learning outcomes;
- Support the creation of assessment tools, such as quizzes, rubrics, and reflection prompts;
- Collaborate with the Career Specialist to ensure all materials are student-centered and effective;
- Attend occasional meetings to discuss project updates and receive guidance;
- Attend and assist with university career services events;
- Attend training sessions as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Detail-oriented and able to organize information clearly;
- Interest in education, curriculum development, or instructional design;
- Adequate in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint);
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback;
- Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard) or online course tools is a plus.;
- Familiarity with or interest in career services or higher education administration.
