This position will serve as a key liaison between UC ANR and the livestock industry, working closely with local public agencies, nonprofit conservation organizations, tribes, and youth groups to identify issues and opportunities for extension of livestock and land management information. The advisor will develop and implement a variety of extension activities to address local needs, including workshops, seminars, field days, short courses, newsletters, and lay publications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in range management, livestock production, including small and large ruminants, fuels management, and natural resource management. Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills are essential for this role.
