Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of duties related to farming, including land preparation, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Operate complex farm equipment, such as tractors and irrigation systems.
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to established protocols.
- Lead and instruct seasonal farm labor in the performance of various activities.
- Maintain accurate records and logs for crop care activities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience working in agriculture, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Familiarity with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
