Under supervision operate high-throughput rat training system including daily handling, monitoring, watering, and identification of rats. Operate computers, maintain facilities and equipment, and perform other routine laboratory tasks. Follow appropriate guidelines and protocols to perform all tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • Minimum education high school graduate

  • Experience working in a research laboratory

  • Skills handling rats.

  • Skills to follow animal care and safety standards, guidelines, and protocols.

  • Skill to troubleshoot problems. Interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling rats.

  • Experience operating computers including multiple operating systems.

  • Experience working with electronics.
