Job Summary

The Capacity Management Analyst (CMA) receives, interprets and executes schedule change requests in Epic for all provider and ancillary templates for ambulatory practice locations. The CMA applies expertise in Epic Cadence functionality including provider templating, decision trees and scheduling workflows to review and interpret requested changes, assess impact on patient access, and make recommendations to ensure that best practice guidelines are followed. Serves as the subject matter expert for template design and build through analysis of provider utilization reports. Applies acquired skills and professional clinical application concepts for small to medium-sized projects of moderate scope.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and / or certification if required of the position
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience / training.
- Minimum 2 years of health care related experience.
- Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including provider template maintenance and scheduling functionalities
- Experience using analytical tools and software, research, and other techniques to monitor and assess data and workflows. Analyzes complex situations or problems and contributes to their resolution.
- Working knowledge of clinical applications systems and functions, including development, implementation, user support, maintenance and system testing and evaluation.
- Ability to apply problem-resolution skills to moderately complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage many interrelated tasks.
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals in both technical and professional fields to secure and / or provide information to clarify situations and resolve problems.
- Skills to analyze complex information or problems in an objective manner and derive logical conclusions to provide a sound basis for establishing priorities, selecting appropriate courses of action for pursuit or recommendations to others, and to resolve conflicts.
- Working knowledge of departmental systems and procedures for documentation and reporting, with the ability to perform tests, and to analyze and interpret relevant data.
- Proven ability to compose professional presentation, reports, correspondence and summaries in a comprehensive organized format.
- Ability to think proactively and function independently.
- Results-oriented and conscientious attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be a team player, proactive, professional, creative, innovative and inquisitive with an interest in mastering new skills.
- Emotional stability to deal with stressful situations.

- Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality of hospital and patient information at all times
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
