Job Summary
Under supervision, perform cleaning, housekeeping and general custodial duties of buildings and other types of facilities, including exterior areas, working independently or as part of a team and ensures building security.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and / or certification if required of the position
- Valid CA Driver's License.
- No minimum education requirement.
- Experience with cleaning solvents, soaps, waxes and other related chemicals used in custodial work.
- Knowledge of standard safety precautions and rules used in custodial work.
- Knowledge of basic materials and equipment used in custodial work.

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014. Personally responsible for following safety procedures and guidelines. This position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System. This position is subject to completion of a Pre-Placement Medical Exam provided by Employee Health Services, at no charge to the applicant. This position is subject to medical surveillance procedures and review in accordance with Federal and State Laws and regulations and University Policy. Work alone in buildings; in isolated areas; travel from building to building at night; and / or in a building with heavy traffic. Work in areas where hazardous materials are present. Work variable shifts : days / hours (weekends, holidays, overtime, etc.).
