Your Role on the Team
Position Summary :
The incumbent will play a large part in the success of UCI Health's integrated clinical financial planning, reporting and financial operations initiatives. The incumbent will partner with leaders across the organization to develop sophisticated data analyses and financial projection models to enable financial and operational excellence across the Health Enterprise and in the Community Network. This position will also be supporting strategic performance management programs that deliver sustainable, measurable changes. Informs strategic decision making by providing financial management and planning information to senior executives, managers and clinicians. Leverages data systems to build a robust fact base, quantify financial and operational benefits, and prioritize efforts.

Required Qualifications :
- Understanding of business planning including analysis, budgeting, feasibility studies, financial pro forma and return analysis
- Understanding of business planning including analysis, budgeting, feasibility studies, and implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with management and team members
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Must be results-driven to drive quantifiable results
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a health system-based environment working with decision support systems or relevant financial and operational analysis experience
- Internal or external financial consulting (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field
- Analytical ability to develop, analyze and interpret application of data
- Ability to plan, set expectations (for self and others), and accomplish multiple objectives within specific timeframes.
- Ability to maintain an organized approach, clarity of purpose, and goal orientation in a rapidly changing environment involving multiple stakeholders of various levels from throughout the organization.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to collaborate with team members to effectively manage risk and ambiguity on a project
