Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
The Intervention Rad Tech is responsible for performing the appropriate skills and techniques necessary during the cardiovascular procedure under the scope of practice. The Intervention Rad Tech has the responsibility of identifying and maintain patient safety as it relates to radiation exposure and safety. Position rotates between scrub, monitor and circulator. This position requires taking call and ability if called to be at the hospital within 30 minutes

Required Qualifications:
- Current California license, CRT and AART, Current California Fluoroscopy license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Degree from and accredited Radiologic Technologist school and current ARRT licensure and CRT.
- At least 2 years working in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Suite
- Preferred Skills and Abilities: Interventional Radiologic Technology Special Procedures experience, experience in interventional cardiovascular medicine computer skills, knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
