Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
Under general direction performs a variety of ultrasound procedures at a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribed methods of diagnosis. Performs related work as required.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of a qualified ultrasound program
ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire
CPR Certification
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARDMS Certified
- Two years hospital experience.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
Physical Requirements: Transport objects by holding them in hands or arms. Moves about on foot. Seizes, holds or works with hands. Raises or lowers objects from one level to another; turns, positions, or lifts patient. Perceives nature of sounds by ear. Accommodation for acuity and depth perception. Ability to push, pull and maneuver portable ultrasound equipment.
