Reporting to the Pharmacy supervisor -- Ambulatory Pharmacy, you will perform various pharmacist functions pertaining to ambulatory pharmacy. Some of these functions include:
- Supporting the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and regulations
- Overseeing support staff
- Performing medication dispensing activities and clinical pharmacy program optimization to deliver outstanding patient care
- Cultivating and modeling a collegial, professional, cooperative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff
- Demonstrating effective, innovative problem-solving
- Adapting to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
- Advancing a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment
Hourly Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)
We're seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and:
- Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
- Knowledge of clinical, ambulatory, specialty, transitions of care and dispensing workflows
- CSP or equivalent board certification preferred
- Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) licensure is desirable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Certification for Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery with Applied Practice
