DescriptionThe Medical Assistant is responsible for evaluating, processing and escorting patients into their Bowyer Clinic room. In addition, they are responsible for documenting specific clinical information accurately in the electronic medical record, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining the supply level in each clinic room and maintaining the productive patient flow in the clinic.
Salary Range: $26.43/hourly
Qualifications
Required:
- Medical Assistant Diploma
- BLS Card from AHA for ARC
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to prioritize and multi task in a busy, fast paced clinic environment
- Ability to work in a team setting to provide support and share knowledge and experience with colleagues on an ongoing basis
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in outpatient clinic setting
- Previous experience working with electronic medical record
