Description
Medical Student Tutors work closely with the Director of Student Academic Support and Academic Support Advisor in the Student Affairs Office to provide a wide range of academic support services to medical students at each stage of their medical school career.
Salary Range: $18.00 - $38.50 Hourly
Qualifications
All Required:
- Candidate needs to be a UCLA or UC registered student.
- Familiarity and knowledge of DGSOM medical curriculum.
- Ability to teach and facilitate learning of medical students in variety of modalities, including 1:1, in small groups and through review sessions and workshops.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity and knowledge of learning platforms and technology and their application in an academic setting, including but not limited to Gryphon and Zoom.
- Ability to work with diverse constituencies and to contribute to a welcoming and affirming learning environment.
