DescriptionThe Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist to join the Youth Stress and Mood (YSAM). Program. Primary duties include:
* Implement program protocols for evaluation, intervention, as well as other research and clinical activities
* Review treatment adherence coding and feedback
* Complete required paperwork and documentation, including work with IRB with support from program director(s)
* Provide evaluation, treatment, and care coordination for youths
* Assist with program management, planning, and implementation based on predefined objectives outlined by the program directors
* Support other tasks required to meet YSAM Program objectives
Please note, this is a limited appointment and may convert to career.
$54.66/hr - $72.08/hr
QualificationsPhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
Valid CA Psychology License or License Eligible
Training in psychopathology and psychotherapy in the area of suicide/self-harm prevention and depression
Prior work experience with youth patients with depression, self-harm behavior, and suicidal ideation and behavior (preferred)
Prior training in research methods relevant to program protocols, including statistical and data management
Ability to address emotional and medical diagnose for children and adolescents with guidance from supervisors
Ability to recommend and/or implement treatment plans for children and adolescents
Ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-disciplinary team
Effective written and oral communication skills
