What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Administrator position at University of California - Los Angeles Health?
Under the leadership of the Department Chair, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and other key department leaders, and in close collaboration with the research administration team, you will take the lead in managing the post-award administration for both intra- and extramurally funded research grants. This vital role directly supports Departmental Principal Investigators (PIs) in ensuring the seamless and effective management of their research funding, helping drive impactful research outcomes.
Salary: $29.26 - $44.59 hourly
Required:
- 1 years of financial, clerical, or administrative experience.
- Ability to set priorities and complete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines.
- Close attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluctuating workload environment.
- Organization skills to create and maintain administrative and financial files effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software, especially Excel.
- High School Diploma.
