In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for Operating Room patients. You will serve as a scrub and circulating nurse while providing direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary professional team as you contribute to cutting edge and innovative surgical procedures. Our mission involves you supporting research and education to staff and students.
This position floats to various units within the hospital locations below based on the patient census and the skills of the RN/Staff:
- Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center
- UCLA Santa Monica
- UCLA West Valley Medical Center
An ability to work efficiently and effectively with others, providing compassionate and cutting edge patient care while also contributing to the positive and collaborative team environment at UCLA Health is a must.
Salary range: $110.76-$110.76 Hourly

Qualifications
We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
- Current California RN license and relevant clinical nursing skills, required
- BSN or MSN degree, required
- BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
- 3 years Operating Room RN experience, required
- ACLS, PALS, and CNOR, preferred
- Able to circulate and scrub OR cases, ophthalmology experience, preferred
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/deliver appropriate interventions, involving patients, family and staff
- Exceptional communication, prioritization, organization and designating skills
- Thorough understanding of medical/surgical terminology
- Knowledge of EHR charting
