Description
As a Storekeeper,you will provide support to patient care units, and clinics,including the procedural interventional, and radiology areas. You will perform duties such as, but not limited to:
- Stocking, cleaning, and organizing the linen closets, inventory holding rooms and other work areas
- Fill orders, pack, and deliver
- Order linen, condense linen carts
- Maintain appropriate inventory documentation
- Work closely with the clinical staff to identify their needs and staging preferences
- Set up and modify products within a supply management software
- Place orders to replenish inventory supply levels using a handheld or third party software
- Reconcile packing slips against orders and delivered content
- Assess and revise PAR levels to accommodate changing demand
- Other duties as assigned
This is a part-time "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. May convert to Career.
Salary Range: $25.10-25.10 Hourly
Qualifications
- Current Class "C" California Driver's License in good standing; subject to DMV pull.
- Experience operating box trucks, order pickers, electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, furniture dollies, heavy-duty transport carts, and supply dollies.
- Ability to drive University vehicles for supply delivery to multiple off-site locations.
- Knowledge and adherence to healthcare infection control regulations and materials management policies.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in tasks.
- Proficiency in using materials management systems, vendor software, computers, and mobile barcode scanners.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Excellent communication skills, maintaining positive guest relations within diverse environments, including co-workers, patients, and families.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with good telephone etiquette.
- Capable of pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Adaptability to diverse environments and a respectful, courteous approach to all interactions.
