In this high-profile position, you will work alongside other members of the ValU Care Redesign team, as well as clinical and operational teams to help drive quality and performance improvement efforts for UCLA Health while supporting the MOVERS/ValU initiative. You will assess problems, compile/analyze data, develop improvement teams, collect metrics and facilitate improvement efforts. You will use Lean and other related methodologies to support process and quality improvement and facilitate and sustain change. You will also independently facilitate projects and meet deadlines according to the needs of the project team.
Salary Range: $92,600-$202,200/annually
We're seeking a self-motivated, results-driven, customer-focused leader with:
- Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree in business, nursing, or healthcare administration preferred
- One to two years of experience in hospital management or hospital consulting
- Proven track record in operations, process improvement, and project management
- Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodology
- Knowledge of all elements of health care delivery
- Expertise in project management and data analysis
- Ability to effectively respond to elements that drive competitive advantage under dynamic conditions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, management, and leadership skills
- Ability to influence others and promote change
- Ability to generate and encourages creative ideas, innovative thinking, and imaginative solutions to issues or problems
- Understanding of the approaches and methods of process improvement
