Position description
The UC Center for Climate Justice seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, enthusiastic and highly qualified academic project manager to support the development of the Climate Justice Education Program. This will involve the development, expansion and dissemination of the UC Climate Justice Course and curriculum. The Climate Justice Education Program will prepare college and university students to build an equitable climate resilient economy. We are seeking someone who will support the diverse needs of the Center's Climate Justice educational program. Some of the specific tasks include :
- Prepare the course to be offered UC-wide
- Prepare the course to be offered on Coursera
- Expand the course to include additional modules including those on professional development.
- Manage some of the financial aspects associated with the Center including purchasing and honoraria.
