The Athletic Trainer position oversees the healthcare management of assigned sports, and serves as the primary point of contact between sports medicine, coaching staff, and student-athletes. The Athletic Trainer collaborates closely with team physicians, strength and conditioning staff, dietitians, and mental health professionals to develop individualized performance and injury prevention programs that optimize student-athlete health and performance. This position is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses while ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional health and safety standards. The Athletic Trainer also plays a critical role in enhancing the student-athlete experience by fostering a culture of health, safety, and performance excellence while contributing to the advancement of sports medicine services at the institution.
The full salary range for the Athletic Trainer is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $67,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
