What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer (Contract) position at University of California - Riverside?
This position is a contract position that is estimated to be an 24 month assignment funded by the University of California Office of the President (UCOP).
The full salary range for the contract Instructional Designer is $66,500.00 - $118,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $97,840.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
As part of the recruitment process, a work sample and presentation(s) may be required from identified finalists.
The contract Instructional Designer participates as a training, education, or instructional design professional in a systemwide program or project. The individual selects technologies and tools, creates supportive learning activities, and develops new training in response to the University's needs. In collaboration with others, the position creates multimedia content and produces it according to an established schedule. The individual will analyze needs and develop recommendations to address a wide range of training issues. The contract Instructional Designer provides support for testing courses to ensure they are functional, designed with learning in mind, and compliant.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
