What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Custodian, Auxiliary Facilities Services position at University of California - Riverside?
UC Riverside's Auxiliary Facilities Services is recruiting for a Lead Custodian. The full salary range for the Lead Custodian is $20.05 - $27.51 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
The Lead Custodian leads, guides and performs a variety of custodial/housekeeping tasks to care, maintain, disinfect, sanitize, and preserve campus facilities. Responsible to clean, dust, strip, wax, sweep, mop, polish, disinfect, sanitize, vacuum, replenish restrooms, and remove refuse/recycling throughout campus facilities, conference rooms, elevators, stairwells, exteriors, etc. May work independently or as part of a team in assigned work areas. Oversees critical day-to-day operations in supervisor's absence; acts as a subject matter expert and provides leadership to custodial/housekeeping staff who perform such tasks. Maintains a positive attitude and communicates effectively with colleagues, supervisors, staff, faculty and students.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
