Major duties include advanced analysis of unique and highly complex issues involving self-assessment, development, implementation, and maintenance of the department's accreditation and subsequent re-accreditation by CALEA / IACLEA. The Accreditation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Accreditation process, website, social media, and data dashboards for the UC San Francisco Police Department (UCSF Campus and Health (Medical Center) campuses).

This position independently tracks accreditation activities and progress towards goals, while coordinating the resolution of issues that may jeopardize accreditation status and developing procedures to improve departmental efficiency, performance, and compliance.

Additionally, the Accreditation Manager serves as the subject matter expert on the accreditation process, including serving as a liaison with local, state, and national CALEA/IACLEA representatives and other accreditated agencies. The Accreditation Manager will also assist with other ad hoc analytical studies on a wide variety of policies, programs, and compliance issues for the UCSF Police Department.
