What are the responsibilities and job description for the Anesthesia Technician, Per Diem position at University of California San Francisco?
The Anesthesia Technician's primary responsibility is to maintain all anesthesia service areas in readiness for use by Anesthesiologists and Anesthetists. The service areas include all operating rooms in the main OR, and Cysto. Additional service areas include but are not limited to : OB, Radiology, MRI, all pre-op and PACU facilities. Responsible for anesthesia equipment and supplies as described in this job description, maintains proper workflow in anesthesia and is accountable to the Manager of Anesthesia Support Services and the OR manager.
The Anesthesia Technician must be able to work independently and may act as a preceptor. Responsible for knowledge of and compliance with all applicable infection control, health, and safety policies and procedures implemented by the department and / or work unit and UCSF Medical Center.
The salary range for this position is $47.37 - $47.37 (Hourly Rate). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Please note : An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
