What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nurse Specialist - Intensive Care Nursery position at University of California San Francisco?
The Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Intensive Care Nursery must possess in-depth knowledge and clinical expertise in Neonatal Intensive Care. The CNS has continued responsibilities for clinical practice, education, consultation, research, and departmental leadership and is accountable to the Director of Perinatal Services. Qualified candidates will demonstrate a positive approach to challenges with an ability and passion to practice evidence-based nursing and educate staff to the highest level of nursing care. Outstanding communication skills and an ability to effectively adapt to an ever-changing clinical environment are required.
The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $209,447 - $235,840 (Annual Rate).
