Division of Hematology, Department of Pediatrics
Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence Faculty Series

The Division of Hematology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals are recruiting for faculty members at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full ranks in the Adjunct, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.

Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess a medical degree and license, board eligibility or certification in pediatrics, and board eligibility or certification in hematology-oncology. Successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise in the practice and teaching of clinical pediatric hematology. Preferred candidates will show interest in a career in academic pediatrics.

For positions that are 51% effort or more:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

For positions that are 50% effort or less:
See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $74,800-$228,600.
