Job Summary
Under general direction of the Recruitment Supervisor, the Talent Acquisition Partner performs recruitment, outreach and sourcing efforts to identify the most qualified candidates for a wide variety of open and posted position. Conducts candidate screening, coordinates advertising and outreach, participates in career events and sources passive candidates using a variety of tools available. Participates on workforce related project teams and committees involving developing, implementing and / or maintaining recruitment and other employment and sourcing programs and policies. Provides advice and counsel on employment practices and recruitment processes. Participates in outreach and diversity efforts.
The Talent Acquisition Partner possess the knowledge and confidence to effectively develop and cultivate client relationships, proven ability to work with people of all levels, be flexible and a team player. Acts as a consultant to managers to ensure the recruitment needs of the organization are met. Collaborates closely with the hiring manager to understand candidate screening preferences and guidelines including interview and phone screening practices. Interpret and apply policies and procedures related to staffing. Provide overall analysis, planning, recruitment in line with achieving the Recruitment Score Card
Skill in analyzing situation, information and practices in order to define the problem or objective identifies relevant factors and patterns, formulate logical conclusions, recognize alternatives and effectively achieve successful outcomes.
Ability to independently prioritize assignments when faced with heavy workload, change in assignments and pressure of deadlines.
Knowledge of the various types of recruiting techniques and media and the instances that each is most effectively employed.
Expert skills in interviewing to quickly and accurately assess an individual's experience range of knowledge, skills and level of competence.
Demonstrated advanced understanding and application of the following principles and practices :
- Recruitment / placement laws and practices
- Compensation practices
- Benefit laws and practices
- Ability to quickly acquire strong knowledge of the firm's recruiting policy, procedures and databases
- Event planning skills
Develop and implement strategies to establish good working relationships within the organization. Including coordination with external groups and individuals that can assist in sourcing prospective candidates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experienced, seasoned professional who uses employment and staffing techniques and concepts for employment, sourcing programs and policies for the organization. Employment and search efforts are of complex scope and complexity. Identifies and presents qualified candidates for professional level positions. Normally receives general direction on all staffing and employment assignments. Exercises considerable judgment and discretion to determine appropriate action. Works with senior internal and external contacts.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $93,700 - $140,600 (Annual Rate).
