Job Summary
This is a Contract Role.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Procurement Analyst with a focus on digital accessibility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all procured digital products and services meet accessibility standards and contribute to our mission of inclusivity. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, procurement expertise, and a deep understanding of digital accessibility standards and best practices.
Scope of Responsibility :
- Accessibility Risk Assessment :
Evaluate digital products and services for compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508, and other relevant guidelines.
Collaborate with the procurement team to integrate accessibility criteria into the procurement process.
Develop and maintain internal accessibility policies and guidelines for digital procurement.
Work closely with vendors to ensure ongoing compliance with accessibility standards throughout the contract lifecycle.
Work with the Digital Accessibility Program team in training sessions for internal teams on digital accessibility best practices and procurement processes.
Maintain detailed documentation of accessibility assessments, procurement decisions, and vendor communications.
This is a one-year term appointment with the possibility of extension.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $84,400 - $180,000 (Annual Rate).

UCSF is technologically and organizationally complex, with both centralized and departmental IT units providing support for enterprise and specialized services. UCSF IT provides education, research, and health technology services, along with shared infrastructure, security, analytics, application, and customer support services, and is essential to the organization's ability to support growth, mitigate security risk, and manage, store and share sensitive information. This position reports to the Digital Accessibility Program Manager and works along with the Web Services, Developer Experience, Accessibility and Analytics, and IT Security teams, and supports the Health Procurement and Supply Chain Management departments.
