The Unit Director for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) designs and oversees all nursing and administrative operations for the PICU. The Unit Director is accountable for the overall administrative planning and coordination of the staffing, fiscal, and material resources. In collaboration with the Director of Pediatric Critical Care Services, the Unit Director assists with the development and implementation of new programs and policies. The Unit Director serves as a role model for nursing practice and utilizes nursing and leadership theories to guide practice and clinical quality. Direct reports are Assistant Unit Directors.The salary range for this position is $253,901 - $269,436 (Annual Rate).Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
