SHIFT / DAYS OFF : Full Time, day shift, five days a week, Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day, 8 : 30am–5 pm with a 30 min lunch break. Total 40 hours per week.GENERAL INFORMATION : Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center (LHH) is a hospital with a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, owned and operated by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. Located on a 62-acre campus in the heart of the city, LHH is the largest skilled nursing facility in the United States, representing one of the most extensive commitments by any city or county to therapeutic care for seniors and adults with disabilities.LHH Psychiatry is a multidisciplinary behavioral health service team under LHH Medical Services. We bring outpatient level of comprehensive behavioral services to the residents at LHH. Our services include psychiatric medication management, mental health treatment, neuropsychological and psychological services, substance use treatment, and behavioral management.Under the general direction of the Chief of Psychiatry, the neuropsychologist provides direct clinical services, including but not limited to neuropsychological and psychological services, mental health services, substance treatment services, and behavioral consultation and planning.Job Requirements : Minimum Requirements : License and Certification : Current valid California Board of Psychology license as a Psychologist as defined in Chapter 6.6 of the Business and Professions Code; Psychologist Licensing Law, Sections 2900-2903, 2914.Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology OR completion of a two-year full-time post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology OR two (2) years of supervised experience as a Clinical Neuropsychologist or work experience supervised by a Clinical Neuropsychologist.Note : While neuropsychological training and experience is required for this position, neuropsychological assessment and testing work does not necessarily constitute the majority portion of the total work volume for this job position. Other clinical work (mental health services, substance use treatment and recovery services - both non-specialty level engagement and specialty substance treatment services, and behavioral management) are part of the job scope.
