Job Summary
The neurology technician is responsible for processing and performing all EEG?s ordered on in and out
patients and maintaining the quality of the lab. The technician shall assure that all equipment in the lab
is properly maintained, calibrated and appropriate quality assurance measures are taken. The
technician is also responsible for assisting with numerous Cardiology / Vascular as well as clerical
procedures.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $48.19 - $60.10 (Hourly Rate).

Department Description
A new way to care for San Francisco. Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and associated outpatient clinics are now part of UCSF Health. Required Qualifications
- At least two years previous experience performing Electroencephalograms.
- Successful completion of an approved course in EEG and / or demonstrated expertise in the theory and techniques of EEG including pertinent anatomy, pathology and interpretation.
